Flavien-Emmanuel Chabanne
Chabanne was considered one of the best miniaturists of his time in his home town of Lyons. From 1826 to 1858/59, he took part in exhibitions in Lyons, and he also exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1831 to 1837. Chabanne was a miniaturist and engraver but also painted portraits in oils and copies after old masters. His significant collection of copper engravings was sold in Lyons in 1858.
